Scholarships

Basin Recreation welcomes all community youth to its programs, regardless of ability to pay.

To qualify for the Basin Recreation Scholarship Program, participants must:  

1. Be eligible for the free or reduced lunch program at their school and  
2. Live within the Basin Recreation service district (84098 or 84060 area codes).  

If the participant is not eligible for the free or reduced lunch program, applicability for a scholarship will be determined on a case-by-case basis by the Recreation Manager.  

If approved, scholarship applications are good until December 31 of that year. Participants must reapply for scholarships annually. There are limited scholarship funds available per program. All scholarships are available first come, first served. 

Scholarships are available for the following programs:  

• Summer Blast and school year camps  
• Basin Recreation sports camps, leagues, and clinics  

If approved for a scholarship, the participant is responsible for 30% of the program fee.  

Scholarships are not available for travel camps, such as Adventure Camps, H20 Camps, and Teen Tuesdays. Partnership programs might have a different scholarship percentage

Upcoming Scholarship Events 

Current or interested scholarship recipients and their families are invited to sign-up or renew their scholarships at this registration event. The Recreation Team will be available to answer questions on eligibility requirements and program offerings, help you submit applications in person, and register for upcoming programs.
