About Rob’s / Mid Mountain Trail System
Rob’s and Mid-Mountain offer stunning panoramic views and varied terrain for both hikers and mountain bikers.
Connecting lush alpine forests with open ridgelines, these trails provide a scenic and moderately challenging experience that showcases the beauty of the Wasatch Mountains.
The Summit County roadside parking restrictions are in effect from November 15 through April 15, and Rob’s and Mid Mountain Trail System are closed from November 1 – May 15.

Be a Responsible Steward
Learn how you can be a responsible steward on our shared trails and open spaces. Responsible stewardship helps protect open spaces and trails and ensures they remain enjoyable and accessible for everyone. While recreating on the trails:
- All trail users must stay on trail and avoid creating new paths or using social trails.
- Always pack out your trash and dog waste. Trash cans and dog waste bags are available at the trailhead.
- Keep yourself and your dogs a safe distance from animals. Remember that this is an open space, so wildlife will be present!

No E-bikes
No Overnight Parking

Dogs
Dogs must be under restraint with a lead, leash, or e-collar with the owner maintaining sight and voice control over dog and a leash on hand.
E-bikes
E-bikes are NOT permitted on single track trails. Exceptions apply for riders on a Class 1 e-bike age 65 or older or persons with mobility disabilities.
Hunting
Hunters may cross Basin Recreation property to access adjacent lands open to hunting, but firearms must be unloaded, and archery equipment must not have an arrow nocked.
