About Rob’s Loop
For a rewarding mountain biking loop in Rob’s, park at Rob’s Trailhead and head up Rob’s Trail for 2.1 miles, taking in the serene mountain views.
Connect to Ambush for .9 miles of smooth flow, followed by a short .3-mile stretch on Holly’s. From there, ride down Rosebud’s Heaven for 2.1 miles of rolling terrain and scenic overlooks. Finish the loop with a quick .8-mile descent back down Rob’s Trail to the trailhead, completing a diverse and enjoyable ride. This loop is most popular for mountain biking but could be completed on foot.
Seasonal Closures:
The Summit County roadside parking restrictions are in effect from November 15 – April 15, and Rob’s and Mid Mountain Trail System is closed from November 1 – May 15.

Ranger Tips
Keep in mind parts of Rob’s trail is designated as uphill only for mountain bikers but remains multi-directional for hikers. Bikers should always yield to hikers.

Dogs must be under restraint with a lead, leash, or e-collar, with the owner maintaining sight and voice control over the dog and a leash on hand.
E-bikes
E-bikes are NOT permitted on single-track trails. Exceptions apply for riders on a Class 1 e-bike age 65 or older or persons with mobility disabilities.
