About Mid Mountain Shuttle

The Mid Mountain Trail is a designated IMBA Epic Ride and not one to miss for a true Park City area trail experience.

This route begins at the Mid Mountain Trailhead at Deer Valley Resort and follows the Mid Mountain Trail for approximately 18 miles. Riders traverse several ski resorts as they wind through aspen and conifer groves and venture across ridgelines with breathtaking overlooks. Once you reach Ambush, enjoy a 1.3 mile descent before connecting to Holly’s for another 1.8 mile downhill segment to end at the Canyons Village at Park City Mountain Resort. To return to Mid Mountain Trailhead, hop on the city bus or plan ahead and shuttle vehicles.  This route is most popular for mountain biking but could be completed on foot.

Seasonal Closures:

The Summit County roadside parking restrictions are in effect from November 15 through April 15, and Rob’s and Mid Mountain Trail System are closed from November 1 – May 15.

While not a technically difficult trail, it’s length can be challenging. Bring plenty of water and a snack to keep your energy up. Remember to keep an eye out for hikers and other bikers on these multi-use trails, and always yield to uphill travelers.
