About Green Heart 5k Nordic Loop
The Green Heart 5k is a groomed trail designated for Nordic skiing only. No dogs, bikes, or foot traffic is allowed.
Parking is available at Willow Creek Park. To access the Green Heart 5k, begin on the Willow Creek Loop trail (multi-use groomed) towards the pond. After passing the dog park, continue along the trail as it makes a sharp left turn. Continue until you reach the Green Heart entrance, which is near the big tree along the farm fence line.

History
The Osguthorpe Farm, otherwise known as the ‘Green Heart’ of the Basin, opened for public Nordic skiing in the winter of 2022 thanks to a partnership between Basin Recreation, Summit Land Conservancy, Mountain Trails Foundation, and the Osguthorpe family. Basin Recreation provides all grooming, and the ski lease is paid for by Mountain Trails Foundation, the Summit Land Conservancy, and donations from the Promontory Club and generous community members.
