About Basin 5k Nordic Loop
The Basin Recreation 5k is a groomed trail comprised of two smaller loops designated for Nordic skiing only. No dogs, bikes, or foot traffic is allowed.
The lower loop meanders through a meadow and offers views of the Utah Olympic Park and Kimball Junction. The upper loop is more technical as it climbs up towards the aspen groves and features sharp turns and steep climbs. Connect the two trails for an engaging 5k loop!
