After a busy winter, we need your help cleaning up this Basin Recreation hot spot! Starting at the NEW lower Run-a-Muk trailhead, grab a provided bucket, shovel, and a pair of gloves and help us scoop the poop. Swing by for a few minutes or a few hours – any help is appreciated!
To build the excitement, a golden poop will be hidden within Run-A-Muk during the cleanups. Find the golden poop and win a prize!
Please note the Run-a-Muk off-leash dog area typically closes for a month each spring to aid in restoration. This cleanup gives you and your pups VIP access during the closure! The melting snow brings muddy conditions which can lead to long-term soil and plant damage, so closing the park each spring is essential to maintaining the health of Run-A-Muk.
