Join Basin Recreation for the grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration of the NEW Lower Run-A-Muk Trailhead! Bring your pup and be among the first to enjoy the new amenities, learn more about the project, and enjoy complimentary snacks and refreshments.

The new trailhead features a restroom, 30 parking stalls, and the brand-new Pawmaste Trail—a .4-mile path that connects users to the existing Run-A-Muk trail system.

Run-A-Muk is a recreational open space area that is co-owned by Basin Recreation and Summit County that attracts over 200,000 users per year. This project helps address an identified Basin Recreation need for trailhead access with restrooms located in non-residential areas. The Run-A-Muk trailhead expansion was funded by Basin Recreation Impact Fees and RAP Tax Grants.

We hope to see you there!
