Brandi Connolly

Brandi Connolly lives in Silver Springs with her husband and three young daughters. Brandi is a management consultant by day, where she focuses on strategic planning for organizations in the sports, events, and hospitality space. Prior to entering consulting, Brandi served on the host committee for Super Bowl XLII, as the director of a trail running series, and as an executive for a sports flooring manufacturer. Brandi and her family moved to Park City in 2013 for the active lifestyle it offers and often takes advantage of the extensive Basin Recreation amenities. She is excited to bring both her executive management experience and her family-oriented perspective to the Board.

Carrie Westberg

Carrie Westberg has lived in the Snyderville Basin for 15 years, currently residing in Summit Park with her husband Gabe and their Nuzzles and Co. rescue mutt Cheddar, and two cats. Carrie works as the Senior Event and Promotions manager for Deer Valley Resort. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, running, paddle boarding, skiing, mountain biking, and practicing Pilates and yoga. She can also be found utilizing The Fieldhouse. Carrie is passionate about recreation and looks forward to introducing recreation to the underserved population of our community.

Nate Brown

Nate Brown lives and teaches physical education in Park City. He participates in trail running, hiking, skiing, paddle boarding, golfing, recreational softball, flag football, basketball, and much more. He has served as a Leadership Park City class member, helped multiple School Community Councils, and coached high school/youth sports. Prior to teaching, Nate worked as a fundraiser in college athletics at Georgetown University and the University of Northern Colorado. Nate was also an academic All-American while playing football at the collegiate level. Nate is excited to continue to assist in the growth of the Basin’s recreation programs, facilities and open space/trails.

Larry Moffitt

Larry Moffitt has lived in Park City for 29 years and presently resides in the Silver Springs neighborhood with his wife, Terry. Having raised two daughters in Park City, the Moffitts have witnessed the growth and success of the Basin Recreation facilities. Currently retired, Larry’s interests include mountain and road biking, cross country skiing, pickleball, and hiking. He is a long-time user of the District’s parks and trails, as well as a frequent patron of The Fieldhouse. Larry is looking forward to helping ensure the continuing success of the District.

Ben Castro

Ben Castro lives in Silver Creek with his wife, Amy, and their children, Paige and Anna. He brings vast experience to Basin Recreation’s planning and budgetary processes due to his background in the financial services industry. He is also an avid user of Basin Recreation’s amenities. His interests include mountain biking, trail running, and triathlons. When he isn’t outdoors, he makes good use of The Fieldhouse. He also serves on the Summit County Recreation Arts and Parks Advisory Committee – Cultural. He looks forward to continuing to promote recreation for the Basin.

Amanda Singer

Amanda Singer has lived in the Snyderville Basin for over 34 years and currently resides at the Newpark Townhomes. She retired after a 32-year career from the Utah Department of Human Services. Amanda enjoys cross country skiing, road biking, hiking, fly fishing, yoga, and pickleball play. She looks forward to bringing her experience in government relations, strategic planning, and addressing the needs of underserved populations to the Board.

Ryan Bruce

Ryan Bruce lives in Jeremy Ranch with his wife, Julie, and young children, Harper, Landon, and Kinsley. At work, Ryan manages a Vocational Rehabilitation program where his teams help people with disabilities find and maintain meaningful work after an injury or illness. Ryan is passionate about spreading the importance of wellness education and easy access to trails and facilities to keep communities physically, and mentally, healthy. Free time is often spent outside with the family downhill and cross-country skiing, BBQing, and exploring Basin Recreation trails and facilities.
