This program will take place on moderately graded trails, so come prepared with proper footwear, water, a snack and anything you need for a short hike in the woods.

Scholarships are available to youth living in either 84098 or 84060 area codes who also qualify for the free or reduced lunch program at their school. Participants must reapply for scholarships annually.

Immerse yourself in the wonders of birdwatching with our beginner-friendly birding walk at RTS Trailhead! This program will introduce you to the essentials of bird identification, including key visual and auditory cues to observe in the field.

The program will take place on gently graded trails, so please come prepared with proper footwear, water, and anything else you need for a 1-2 mile hike. Suitable for all ages. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The event will take place on a one-mile stretch of trail between the Copper Moose Farm Stand and Temple Har Shalom. Please wear sunscreen or a hat and comfortable walking shoes.

Tours leave every 20 min. from Copper Moose Farm, starting from 2pm to 4pm. Each tour is led by a guide who takes you on a leisurely hike to several site-specific locations along McLeod Creek Trail. The tour takes about 1.5 hours. After the tour, we invite you to be our guest at the Copper Moose Farm Stand to enjoy our lounge area with food, drinks, and live music from The Dustbowl Collective until 6pm.
