Road to Arcylon

The Road to Arcylon is Basin Recreation's newest downhill oriented trail. This is truly a downhill experience...fast, big jumps, drops and BIG bermed turns. Access for the trail is from Gorgoza Park Tubing Hill. Ride up the Gorgoza Park Trail, roughly one mile to the UP Trails and then another 1/4 mile to the top of the Road to Arcylon. "HIT IT," then ride back up the UP Trail and repeat until you have had enough fun for the day!

This trail was planned, designed and constructed as a cooperative partnership between Basin Recreation and WAFTA (Wasatch Area Freeride Trail Association). A big thank you to WAFTA and the other volunteers that helped make the construction of this trail happen. We are still in the process of adding features to the trail and shaping jumps, but it's complete enough to ride when the closed sign is down. Please respect the TRAIL CLOSED sign, as it's there for a reason...such as construction, maintenance, mud, etc.

The success of this trail and possibility for more downhill specific trails rests on the shoulders of the people who use it. Please respect the neighbors and property owners in the surrounding area by staying on the public trails and by parking at the public trailhead at Gorgoza Park for trail access.

Future trails depend on your cooperation!
