Snyderville Basin Special Recreation District (SBSRD) Open Space covers the spectrum of the Wasatch Mountains at its best from densely forested slopes and mixed mountain-brush covered hillsides to sagebrush steppe and sensitive riparian areas.

Open Space is integral to our health, our happiness, our economy, and our quality of life. With millions acres lost nationally to development every year, it's more important than ever to protect these special places. SBSRD is actively investigating new properties for possible future acquisition. We encourage each visitor become acquainted, cherish and steward these lands alongside SBSRD and the greater Summit County community.
