Fun. Social. Exercise. Using these three elements as a foundation, Basin Recreation has developed a new category of recreation designed specifically for people over the age of fifty.

Weekly Drop-In Activities

Yoga:
Tuesdays from 11:30am-12:30pm at The Fieldhouse in Studio C.

Fun Over Fifty Yoga is a judgement-free yoga class designed for people over the age of Fifty. Whether you are an experienced Yogi or new to stretching, you will find yourself energized and rejuvenated after this 1 hour class.

FREE Drop-In Pickleball:
Pickleball is done for the Season we will start back up in the spring!

Come drop-in! Play is generally unstructured and format will be left up to participants.  We will have four nets setup with permanent lines and encourage players of all levels to come and play!  We will have some additional equipment on hand for people to borrow.



AARP Smart Driver Course
 

Refresh your driving skills during this 4-hour safe driving course and qualify for up to a 10% multi-year discount on your auto insurance. There are no tests to pass, just come and learn. Lunch will be provided!

Saturday, April 29th from 10:00am - 2:30pm - Basin Recreation Community Room (5715 Trailside Dr.)

Cost: $15 for AARP Members and $20 for Non-Members

Over the Hill Mountain Biking
 

This is the perfect program for people either curious about mountain biking or simply looking to ride with a group. Rides will be led by certified mountain bike instructors.  All rides will be on local trails and we expect them to be about 2 hours.

Thursdays:
June 8th - August 31st

Cost: varies per ride

Fun Over Fifty Spring/Summer 2017 will include weekly hikes with The Hiking Club, Adventure Days (Wakesurf, SUP, Backpacking, and Rafting), Over-the-Hill Mountain Biking and Pickleball.
