Take Your Fitness Routine Around the Town - 9.30.2016
We know we're not the only act in town. Park City is incredibly lucky to have such an active community that truly appreciates an exceptional workout. We provide those experiences as much as possible, but we recognize that there are other studios in the area that offer fun and unique workouts, and we want our patrons to try all of these new fitness trends.
That's why we have developed the Around the Town Fitness Challenge. We have partnered with seven fantastic studios to provide our patrons with four weeks of workouts around Park City. From October 4th through October 27th on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30am (unless otherwise noted), we will showcase a variety of fitness classes that will keep you challenged. Instructors from each studio will be ready to welcome visitors and share their passion for fitness in their own unique ways.
Trying new classes can be intimidating, but this is a great opportunity to arrive at an unfamiliar place to work out with familiar faces in a relaxed environment. Even better, the price is just right. The $80 pre-registration fee covers eight sessions.
After a decade of providing fitness opportunities to patrons, we know that our community participates in a wide variety of workout styles. The Around the Town Fitness Challenge reflects that diversity, offering running, cycling, boxing, yoga, and everything in between.
Our inaugural studio selections are equally as excited to introduce new patrons to new fitness classes in the area. Check out some of the reasons we partnered with these amazing studios (or click on the links to their websites to learn more):
October 4th - Pure Barre Park City - We've all complained about those pesky trouble spots...arms, abs, thighs, hips and rear end. This 55-minute workout focuses on these areas by building strength and developing lean muscle in a low-impact way that protects the joints!
October 6th - CrossFit Spark - CrossFit is all the rage right now! Spark combines conditioning in a variety of time durations, training using personal body weight, and nutrition to build a solid fitness foundation.
October 11th (6:15am) - BOOM Cycle Room - Many of our patrons enjoy cycling, but this workout is an entire experience. It's a party on a bike! The nightclub setting, energetic tunes, and enthusiastic instructors take patrons to the next level of indoor cycling!
October 13th - Tadasana Yoga - Yoga Sculpt! Some familiar yoga poses, combined with an upper-body workout using light weights. The music will get you pumping and you'll leave feeling ready to tackle the world. New students get free mat rental, towel rental and water.
October 18th - Bobby Lawrence Kickboxing - It's not just about kicking a$$...Kickboxing is one of the best ways to get into shape, increase endurance, and sculpt muscle. Instructor Megan Provost brings an unbeatable energy to the class.
October 20th (7:00pm) - Orangetheory - Their studio in Redstone is brand spankin' new! This workout is all about efficiency, combining treadmill interval training, rowing to increase power, and weight training to boost overall fitness levels.
October 25th - Athletic Republic - These instructors know how to train athletes...wanna feel like an athlete?! Their proprietary equipment helps patrons maximize performance, whether they're training for their next triathlon or working to reach their highest fitness level.
October 27th - Basin Recreation - We'll end the challenge right back where we started this whole idea!
We anticipate the Around the Town Fitness Challenge will only break the surface of the growing number of fitness studios in Park City. As such, we're hoping to partner with even more studios in the future. If you're an instructor or you've taken an exceptional fitness class around town, let us know. We are game to try every new workout, and we hope you're ready, too. See you around town!
